Hugging 2014

A New Year is meant for new beginnings, new resolutions, changes and much more.
For me it is all about a change of date and a repetition of the same dates, selfishly an another chance of re-living many special memories, my birthday and a few anniversaries being the prior one.
This idea of having my own blog was an inspiration from the blog of my Annual College Magazine publishing society, ENGINIUM. It gave me an opportunity to post a few odd things and that's where I fell in love with this idea, finally scrutinizing my own blog.
Like any other specimen, I too have hopes and dreams from the days to come. With the saying,"Hope is a waking dream", I shall now ramble on and see what new deviations life has planned for me.

HAPPILY HUGGING AND WELCOMING THIS NEW YEAR- 2014 !

HURRICANE

In this battle of life,
Where we all are forced to strive
Of fear- fear of expectations,
Of acceptance and ostracization
A fear of being misheard and misunderstood,
A fear of being heard and rightly understood

This is how life owes you a lot,
Turning round just when you hit a jackpot
A nightmare foreseen yet unbelievable,
A loss- unwanted,unexpected and unforgettable
A turmoil- silently screeching near,
Too harsh, too destructive and hard to bear

Dealing with the same ordeal,
Shedding and tiptoeing on heels
Far stretched mass and blood stained wrists,
Dusty eyes and icy cold winds
A loud shriek and a painless cry,
An hopeless attempt and a long sigh

I shouted, I freaked ,
I panicked , I screamed
For that one last chance,
The only way to save me from a trance
Standing, frozen on that far stretched lane,
Came the life taking hurricane

That took my breath away,
Cold, shivering there I lay
With every passing second,
And the load with which I was burdened

I struggled, stood up and walked on,
Readily challenging that one thorn
To move on and give it a reason,
Of being free from shackles of prison
That had stopped me since years and years,
And give myself a way through those tears

Passing through the hurricane,
And crossing that same lane
I stood up again, stiff and strong,
And hope that would let me survive for long !!
